Placing their solidity aside, these two formidable pieces of his catalogue (Concierto Elegíaco and Concierto de Toronto for guitar and orchestra), their live recordings constitute a testimony of incalculable worth on their debut in Cuba with guitarist Rey Guerra and master Brower at the front of the O. S. N. (National Symphonic Orchestra) in the case of Concierto de Toronto, and the same guitarist and master Guido López Gavilán directing the Symphonic Orchestra of Matanzas.  Both debuts took place on the Galas de la Clausura of Guitar International Festivals held in Havana in 1990 and 1998 respectively.
