Author’s Note:

“Following in the footsteps of “L’Allusive”,  this title is a sort of double homage to two musicians who have meant a great deal to me,  Leo Brouwer and Leonard Bernstein.  The first page includes a distant echo of the Cuban composer’s “Piece sans titre” as well as his “Etude simple no. 1”,  and flirts with the famous theme from “West Side Story” shortly before the final reprise.  “L.B. Story” is often quite subtle,  and was specially designed for those who fall for “politically incorrect” rhythms.”
