Six Silver Moonbeams is the most complete biography of one of the most important guitarist-composers of all time, Agustin Barrios Mangoré.
The musicologist and guitarist Richard “Rico” Stover has reedited his original 1992-edition book in a greatly expanded volume that includes new chapters dealing with his family, his relationship with Segovia, his guitars, the history of the guitar in Paraquay, etc.
This new edition, published in Paraquay with the collaboration of the Barrios Mangore Project Center and Guitars from the Heart, constitutes a great contribution to the literature of the guitar, combining 50 years of investigations surrounding the enigmatic Guarani artist.
